American musician and actor Awkwafina began her career with hilarious rap tracks that tackled racial identity and sexuality with an incisive and humorous perspective, before broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants.
