Angela Kaufman

Angela Kaufman has been a author, speaker, as well as a certified intuitive consultant. Also, she is licensed clinical social worker, an accredited Astrologer, and a political activist. As well as being an Reiki Master and a Certified Psychic Medium, she is also an Ordained Priest. In the course of her three years in Italy Kauffman earned her name for her portrait painting as well as historical paintings. The recognition of her achievements is evident by her appointment to Rome's Accademia di San Luca in 1765. Angelica Kauffman, who spent less than 15 years in England, had an important influence on the London Art Scene during the 18th Century. She was one of the two female founder members of The Royal Academy. Artist Angelica Kauffman died on November 5th, 1807 at the age of sixty-six. Kauffman was a young woman who came into Rome in 1763, was the first exposed to British culture. A few months after the family moved back to Naples in which Kauffman continued her portraiture and learned more English. Then Kauffman studied works by her favorite artists, the Old Masters and had her first work sent to an open exhibition in London.
