Anna Chlumsky
Anna Chlumsky is a critically acknowledged American actress who gained prominence as a child actor in the movies 'My Girls" and the sequel My Girl 2. Her lead roles continued to delight viewers in films like "Trading Mom" as well as "Gold Diggers: the Secret of Bear Mountain". She was awarded numerous awards for her work on these movies early in her career. In her senior years her interest in acting began to fade. attraction to the industry of entertainment. It was clear that she missed her fellow students at film shoots. The interest she had in the acting profession waned as she focused her attention on education. Though she wanted to be an author of food writing and food, she ended up as a fact checker in Zagat's restaurant guides. The next position she had at HarperCollins as an editor's assistant made her miserable. After receiving advice from her agent she decided to return to acting. They took acting classes to develop the skills she had developed. Within a few months her agent offered her the part of Liza in 'In the Loop'. Soon afterwards she was able to start appearing in Off Broadway shows. While she often ponders the ways things could have turned out differently had she not decided to take a break from acting but she's happy she did take the break.
